Homemade Tomato Sauce

I love a chunk a meat and for almost two years I’ve refrained from any sauce choosing to savour the flavours. Today and next week is ‘A New Thing Each Day’. Enjoy.

6 x Roma Tomatoes
1/4 cup of Coconut Oil
1 x Brown Onion
1/2 Clove of Garlic
1x Tablespoon dried Basil
1/2 Teaspoon Rapadura Sugar
1 x Tablespoon Quality Tomato Paste
1/2 Teaspoon Quality Rock or Seaweed Salt
Cracked Pepper

Warm Coconut Oil and soften onion for 5 minutes
Add Basil and Tomato Paste for another 5 minutes
Add Salt and Pepper and Rapadura Sugar
Add Tomato and cook down/stir for 5 minutes
Blend, bottle and refrigerate when cool
